All figures, success rates, disability rating increases, or benefit amounts referenced on this website, in marketing materials, or in other communications are general estimates and not guarantees of any specific outcome. All determinations of benefits and ratings are made solely by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Federal law (38 U.S.C. § 5901) states that no individual may act as an agent or attorney in the preparation, presentation, or prosecution of a VA claim unless recognized by the VA for that purpose. VA Ratings Prime will never ask you to sign a Power of Attorney (POA) or claim representation as an agent. If a non-accredited company requests to act as your agent or requires a POA, you are encouraged to report this behavior to the VA Office of General Counsel: https://www.va.gov/ogc/accreditation.asp
There are free services available to all veterans for assistance with filing VA claims, including National Service Organizations (e.g., VFW, DAV), local or state Veterans Service Officers, and accredited attorneys or agents.
Utilizing VA Ratings Prime is optional — veterans may file and succeed in their claims independently or with these no-cost services.

Nevada Residents: No compensation may be accepted by any individual assisting another with a veterans’ benefits matter unless authorized under Title 38 of the United States Code. Free services are available through federally chartered veteran organizations and accredited service officers.
